Men's Soccer Alumni Watch: January 2018

Erik Chekur (Wantage, NJ) played for Rowan University this past season. He started 15 games in goal and went 12-2-1 with six shutouts. He has compiled 57 saves, an 86.4 save percentage and a 0.63 goals against average. Erik was also ranked second in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) in goals against average and save percentage, and tied for second in shutouts. Erik also received NJAC All-Conference honorable mention in his first year for Rowan University.

Matt Macavoy, from Adelaide, Australia, was a captain for Sussex County Community College in 2015. He has moved on to play at Kean University where he has started 8 games and has recorded an assist helping the cougars to a 10-7-1 record.

Jamie Leddy (Bateman's Bay, Australia), a former captain at Sussex County Community College and All-American, had a great soccer season for the NCAA Division I FDU Knights. In his second season with the Knights, he saw action in 16 of FDU's 17 matches, playing every minute. He scored the game-winning goal against Robert Morris on October 15, which was one of the highlights for Jamie this past season. Jamie was named to the Second team All-NEC.
