Skylanders Named to All Region Team

The Sussex County Community College Athletic Department is proud to announce that Miykael Barnes and Drew Shawgo, 2026 members of the SCCC Lacrosse Team, were named to the 2026 NJCAA All Region XIX Team. Barnes, also a memebr of the Sussex Football Team for the 2025 season, finished with a shots of goal percentage of 100.0, 24 ground balls, an assist and a 30.4 faceoff percentage.  Shawgo finished the season with 6 goals, 5 assists, and a faceoff percentage of 66.7.

Head Coach Matt Sciancalepore added: "Drew and Miykael were really big for us this year and helped us compete all season long.  Their attitude and work ethic were instrumental in helping push the rest of the team and they were strong leaders throughout the spring.  They fully deserve to be named in the All Region Team this year."
