Drame Commits to Sussex

The Sussex Soccer program is pleased to announce new signing Mama Drame to the Fall 2026 Women's Soccer Team.  Drame, from Clermont-Ferrand, France, plays primarily as a right back, but is also comfortable as a left back or wing on either side.  Head coach Mike Rath added, "Mama is going to bring a lot to our team this fall.  She is really comfortable in possession which will allow us to build out of the back more, and she has a strong physical presence while defending.  She is a modern defender where she will offer a lot in attack as well as defence, and I am really happy that she has committed to Sussex.  Her playing style will help elevate this program in the next phase of our rebuild, and I am really excited to start working with her and the rest of the team!"

Drame joins Pauline Chabanois, Kendra Deckert, Jolen Stoner, Lottie Cheverton, Sarah Melgar, Jocelyn Considine, Brooke Driver, Zoe Hocke, Alissa Menu, and Matilda Wingfors in this year's recruiting class.
